The sales overview report gives you a summary of your total number of bookings and revenue of each of your sales channels.

You can use the sales overview report to check which of your booking channels receives the most bookings, which is your largest re seller, which are your most booked products. 

This report is connected to the product booking feed, found in Bookings> Product Feed.

To enter this report select "Reports" from the top bar and "Sales Overview Report" from the drop down list.

When you enter the report, you are able to search for certain date ranges, both by booked date and travelled date.

The first graph shows your total bookings by date created (booked) and by date that the customer arrives for you activity (travelled).

Below the bar graph, there are two pie charts. The first pie chart (left side) shows the number of of bookings from each sales channel in percentage terms. The second pie chart (right side) shows total revenue from each sales channel in percentage terms. 

The next pie charts break down the following, first by total number of bookings and then by total revenue.

Booking channel: The channels your bookings originate from. 

  • Backend channel is all bookings manually added via Book: experiences and Bookings Desk. 
  • The rest of the channels represent the websites your bookings are originating from.

Sellers: Re-sellers are companies that you have a contract in Bokun marketplace with that resell your products.

Suppliers: Suppliers are companies that you resell products for. (can be from your own products or suppliers that you have partnered in the Bokun marketplace with).

Product type: The type of products being booked: Experiences, Accommodation, Car Rentals, Transport.

At the bottom of the report you have an overview of your most booked products by count and also by revenue.
