What is Enhanced Connectivity?
We created this feature because we know it’s time consuming to make changes to your products in the TripAdvisor Experiences (Viator) Management Center and on Bokun. Enhanced Connectivity is built to reduce the platforms you need to use. By using it, changes made to pricing and content on Bokun will automatically show up on Viator alongside the current ability to update availability.
The product information and content on Bokun will replace what you’ve loaded into the TripAdvisor Experiences (Viator) Management Center
How do I know if my business is eligible for Enhanced Connectivity?
Your products must be active and set-up on both Bokun and on TripAdvisor Experiences (Viator) Management Center's New Supplier Platform (NSP) and mapped between the systems.
You must then reach out to the Bokun support team via email@example.com or by clicking the blue chat button in the bottom right corner in the Bokun Helpcenter and we'll look into if you're eligible for the Enhanced Connectivity as soon as possible.
Do I need to do anything to ensure my products have the optimal content settings?
We recommend you review your products in Bokun to ensure they are up-to-date. We recommend you review the following settings:
- Use 6 - 9 images to attract travellers and increase your chances of bookings
- Lower your product’s cut-off time to within 12 hours of its start time. This keeps your experience bookable for last-minute travellers.
- Ensure you have updated your Inclusions and Exclusions.
- Review and update your Meeting Points, Pick-up and Drop-off locations with exact addresses.
- Make sure your Product Pricing is accurate
- Update your Availability to at least 120 days in advance
Which sections are not synchronised between Bokun and TripAdvisor Experiences (Viator) Management Centre?
There are three primary sections within the TripAdvisor Experiences Management Center which are NOT currently synchronized between systems.
- Categories & Themes
- Tour Details
- Cancellation Policy
You can continue to edit these specific values within the TripAdvisor Experiences (Viator) Management Center. The current values for these sections will NOT be overwritten with Bokun values.
How can I tell if my products have been enabled with Enhanced Connectivity?
TripAdvisor Experiences (Viator) Management Center will clearly detail the products and product content which have been synchronized with Bokun:

Does anything change with my availability mapping?
No, your current mapping between Bokun and TripAdvisor Experiences / Viator will remain in place.
Why are only some of my products connected?
We will enable Enhanced Connectivity for eligible products and automatically connect and synchronize your remaining products over the upcoming weeks.
Does Enhanced Connectivity work with other OTAs?
No, Enhanced Connectivity is an exclusive service only available through Bokun and TripAdvisor Experiences.
