The first thing you need to do is to contact Trust My Travel and make an agreement with them to become your payment processor- When you have a contract with them in place, you can connect Trust My Travel and Bokun.

How to connect Trust My Travel and Bokun

Select "Payment providers" from the menu that appears when you select the gear icon in the top right hand corner of your screen.

Select "Connect a provider".

Select the Trust My Travel Logo to add Trust My Travel as a payment option: 

Select "Trust My Travel Token".

Add the required information. You can choose the Title. The username should be the word token (all lowercase) and the password is an API key you can retrieve from your Trust My Travel dashboard. The base currency is the currency you've agreed to with Trust My Travel.

Make sure that there are no spaces in the fields, neither before or behind the numbers. If there are spaces you will get an error message when you try to continue to payment in the booking process. 

How do I start accepting payments using Trust My Travel?

You need to activate the payment provider on your Booking channel (your online sales channel).

Your Booking channel delivers bookings and payments made on your website into Bokun. You can sign up for more than one payment providers, which is why you need to select the correct one. You can for example use one payment provider for your European market, and another one for your US market.

Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen and select "Booking Channels" from the side menu.

Select the booking channel you want to use Trust My Travel for. 

Select Trust My Travel as the payment provider for this booking channel from the dropdown menu. Make sure that "Allow any currency" is unchecked, and that the currency in the dropdown menu matches the currency in your agreement with Trust My Travel.

Scroll down and under "Main contact info at booking", check Address and check that Address is required in addition to the other contact details you want to receive. Address is required for the online transaction. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Save.

Now, you are set and ready to accept payments on your website.

Test your payment process

After you add the booking engine to your website, it's a good rule to create one booking and pay for it.
This is to test both the booking process and to check that your payment provider is working as it should be.
