In some cases you can refund your customer directly via Bókun, it depends on the payment provider whether that is possible or not. Here are more detailed information on how to refund directly and which payment providers support that option.

When you need to do a refund on a booking it is important to keep the data in Bókun up to date by adding a refund.

Please note

Refunding in Bókun will not automatically refund to the payers credit card, but only creates a credit record on the booking so the data in Bókun will be correct.

To add a refund to a booking, find the booking to be refunded and open it. E.g. on booking feed click the booking reference number, in a Pick up list, click the passengers name.

On the top of the page, open the payments tab, and on the right hand side of the following view, click the Add Refund button

On the right hand side of the booking page, click the Add Refund button

Punch in the amount you need will be refunding, and click Save.

Doing the actual refund outside of Bókun

Refunding Money is straightforward when you customer has payed in Cash, or if you can refund him cash.

However, when it comes to credit card payments, Bókun can not move money from your account to the customer's account. You need to contact your payment provider and ask for a refund, or log into the back-end systems your payment provider has given you access to.
