On your settings page you will find the basics settings for your Bókun account. To enter your settings page select "Menu Icon in top left corner" on the top bar and "Settings" from the drop down list.
On the settings page you can set your:
- Company Information
- Content languages
- Ticket settings
- Message on customer Invoice
- Mail settings
- Barcode settings
- Agents settings
- Product distributions settings
Subdomain: this is your login link to Bókun. Note, if you change the subdomain, you have to login with the new subdomain and let your colleagues know, so they can login.
WYSIWYG editor: check to have HTML text editor bar on text fields in Bókun, HTML editor is a bar like this:
Logo: upload your companies logo. The logo will appear on the ticket your customer receives and on your card on Marketplace.
In content languages you can add the languages you would like to translate your content into. Content is e.g. your product/services descriptions. Activating languages and translating content, makes sense in the case your would like to publish booking engine in other languages than English on your website.
Add the contact information you would like to appear on the ticket/voucher your customer receives at the time of booking.
Logo style: here you can change the size of the logo on the customer ticket if it is e.g. to large. you can write e.g. W:55 to change the width of the logo. In most cases you can leave this field empty.
Message on order summary: Message on invoice. This is a message that will appear in the e-mail your customer receives at the time of booking. This message also appears on the Invoice your customer receives in an e-mail at the time of booking.
Show prices: Check this box to show the price of the product appear on the ticket. Note that the price will always be on the invoice the customer receives with his ticket.
Show invoice ID on ticket: check this box to show the invoice ID on the ticket.
Show booking agent on ticket: in the case you have a booking agent and you would like his name to appear on the tickets from his bookings.
Show payments on customer invoice:
E-mail addresses for notifications: add the email address/addresses you would like to get booking notifications sent to.
Booking notifications: Check this box if you do not want to receive notifications by e-mail when you create a booking your self in your Bókun system.
In mail settings you are setting the information used to send e-mail notifications to customers, e.g. the e-mail your customers get e-mails sent from.
Sender email: the e-mail your customers will receive their booking notifications from. This is most likely going to be the common e-mail for bookings or information.
Sender name: the name your customers will receive their booking notifications from. This is the name of your company.
Mailchimp API key: If you are using Mailchimp to allow your customers to sign up for a mailing list, then you can integrate Bókun and Mailchimp by adding your Mailchimp API key. What this integration does is to allow you to invite your customers to sign up for a mailing list in the online booking process. When your customers check a box to join your mailing list, their information will be automatically moved to your Mailchimp mailing list.
Mandrill Account: Mandrill is a service that allows you to build your own e-mail templates. By default the e-mails your customers receive at the time of booking are using a default template that Bókun provides. If you wold like to override the default e-mail template, you can sign up for a Mandrill account (mandrill.com) and create your own templates there. Then you can add link your Mandrill account and Bókun account to use your own e-mail templates.
Mandrill API key: add your Mandrill API key to link Bókun and your Mandrill account.
In bar code settings you can select the barcode format to publish on your customer ticket. By default QR codes are published on the tickets. However, in the case you have a scanner system in place and that reads different type of barcodes you can select a different barcode than QR to publish on the ticket.
Offline contracts: You can offer both online and offline contracts to your agents. Online contracts are the default contracts in Bókun and are the contract that are used in the case you give your booking agent a login to book their own products. If the agent e-mails/calls you to book, rather than using their login, you can add them to the booking and select whether you wold like to use online or offline contract.
Check this box if you would like to have the option of offering offline contract as well as online contract.
Show price on tickets: check this box to show prices on the ticket the agent could print out/e-mail to their end customer.
Product Distribution settings
If you are using product distribution, this section lets you define which distribution to add to your Marketplace and Booking Agents.
Remember to save before leaving this page, so you wont loose all of your settings.
