You can create a signup link for Booking Agents. This means that agents can go through a self service portal when they are creating a login and password to get access to your products.

The process is so that you create agent term in Bókun and assign that agent term to the signup link. When the agent signs up, he will be automatically assigned the assigned agent terms. Note, the agent terms can be changed on individual agents later as needed.

When you set up the link you can decide if the agent should be automatically confirmed, which means he can start booking right away. Or you can set the link up to manually confirm the agents before the are able to book.

This allows you to add e.g. a signup link to your website for interested agents. You can take a sign up link with you to conferences or other industry events and have a quick and easy signup for those who are interested.

How to set up a signup link.

Before you set up a signup link for booking agents, you have to have set up Booking Agent Terms. If you have not done that yet, here you have information on how to set up agent terms.

To set up Booking agent signup, you start by selecting "Contracts" on the top bar and "Booking agent signup" from the drop down list.

To create the signup link, you have to fill in the form that appears on the screen.

Active: check this box to activate your signup link.

Auto approve signed up agents:
If you check this box, your agent signups will be automatically approved and the agents can create bookings right away. If you do NOT check this box, you will get a notification when an agent signups and you have to manually confirm the agent before he can create bookings.

Online contract: Select the Agent Contract Term you would like to apply to all self signed up agents. Note, the agent term can be changed later on self signups if they should get other terms than the default ones.

Account Manager: Is the person in your company who is the contact person for your agents and will receive notifications when new agents signup.

User roles manage who can be an account manager. Those who are Admins and those who have Manage Booking Agent Accounts"

How does the signup look to the agent:

Here is an example of the form the agent fills in when he sings up:

After the Agent completes his sign up, he gets different screens depending on whether he is automatically confirmed or if he is manually confirmed by you.

This is the screen the agents gets if you auto approve the booking agents who signup. The agent will receive an e-mail and has to confirm his account before he can log in.

If the booking agent is manually approved by you, he gets a message that he will receive an e-mail when you have approved his signup.

What do you need to do on your end when you receive a signup:

What you need to do, depends on whether you manually approve or automatically approve the self signed up booking agents.

Manually Approve Agents.
The account manager for booking agents will receive an e-mail about the agent signup. In Bókun, you get a notification balloon letting you know there is a contract you need to take a look at.

To approve or not approve agents, start by selecting "Contracts" on the top bar, then select "Booking agents" from the drop down list. There should be a red notification by the booking agents.

On the booking agent screen you can select to see "Approved", "Pending" and "Rejected" agent contracts. To see the ones you need to approve, select "Pending". Select the name of the Booking Agent you need to approve or reject.

At the top of the booking agent page, you can approve or reject the Booking Agent:

On this same page, you can edit the agent, add new terms to and edit all information.
