With distribution management you can select which products you would like to have available for your booking agents. Thus, if you have some products that are strictly bookable internally at your company you can exclude them from your agents or if you would just like some of your agents to be able to book your two top selling products.

You can either create one rule for all agents or you can create a separate rule for each agent.

Start by selecting "Products" on the top bar and "Product Distribution" from the drop-down list.

Select "add" to create a new distribution rule for your agents.

When you selected add you get to a form where you define the parameters for your distribution rule and select the products available for the distribution.

Title: name of the distribution, e.g. Booking Agents

Description: description of the distribution. This is not a mandatory field

Type: select for which sales channel this distribution is available. To create a rule for your booking agents, select "internal and booking agents" from the drop down-list.

Products: Under products, you can select which products are available, if any, from all of your suppliers.

All: All products from this supplier are available

None: No products are available from this supplier

Boxed: Only boxed products are available from this supplier

Selected: the drop down list at the end of the line gets activated, and you can select those products you would like to have available for your booking agents.

After you have created the rule, you need to activate it. To activate the rule select "Contracts" on the top bar and "Booking Agents" from the drop down list.
