Booking agents, are sellers who are external to Bókun. You can create a login for your booking agents where they can book the products you have given them permit to book.

This article explains how to create a user for your Booking Agent.

If you have not yet created Booking agents, start by going to this link to create your booking agent.

Each Booking Agent can have their user login to the Bókun Extranet. This enables them to book your products directly your Bókun account, eliminating the need for other means of communication between you and your agent.

To create a user account for your Booking Agent do the following.

Select the "Cog wheel in top right corner" then you select “Users” from the side bar:

On the search pane in the User page, select the booking agent tab on the right hand side of the screen.

When you have reached the Booking agent users page, click "Add" at the top of the page.

Here you provide the following information about your new Booking Agent's user.

  • E-mail address
  • Password that you decide
  • First name
  • Last name
  • The Booking Agent this particular user is supposed to act as in Bókun.
  • Account Holder: If this box is checked you allow this particular agent user to be able to create more users on his agent account. He will also be able to see the terms of your contract.

Now you give your new Booking Agent's user the authentication to your Agent Area.

The login link is the same as yours. You can find the login link by selecting "The name of your company" on the top bar, select "settings" from the drop down list.

At the top of the page you can find your custom login link to send to your booking agents.

On this link you can find information, to send to your agents along with the login link, username and password, on how to book in Bókun and information on their account.

This is the Agent Area as the user you create with "Account Holder" permit will see it. Those agent users will see the same screen except for the "user" and "booking agent terms" highlighted on the picture.
